To whom it may concern dearly:

Xin cha`o. As a Vietnamese, I am dearly grateful towards Vietnam Cong Hoa (Quoc Gia). I have been taught the right path to freedom

and human rights for our countrymen and countrywomen. I was brought up in America to become a Vietnamese nationalist--from my

parents, whom taught me all about Vietnam, the war, and the country they once loved. As I grew up in this new Home, I understood

from what's right and wrong. I became deeply into the war and it's history.

They (from what I've learned and understood without been there during the war) gave me a great pride for my beloved country (South

Vietnam). I came to love my nationality and where I came from. As part of a new vietnamese generation I have warmth gratitude

towards the soldiers who went into action and those who lost their lives to their beloved land.

The main reason why I am writing now is to know if these Soldiers of Freedom fighter ever died in vain. If not, then why and how come I

haven't come across any story, describing their courageous efforts in fighting for our side. What happen to their heroism? Did it

disappear into thin air?

I've been searching for one specific story about their heroism in any internet pages; Viets or Western views. It seems like the soldiers of

the Republic of South Vietnam had never existed inthe War! If they fought for our Freedom and for our Liberty, I believe we should have

something on the internet as well as abroad to commemorate them for serving our Beloved, Beautiful country. This is a small act of

saying thankyou to our soldiers who had died but not in vain.

Thank you,

Your New Vietnamese Descendence.
